3 p.m. If you would like to check-in after 10 p.m., please email us beforehand if possible.

We politely request that rooms are vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of your departure.

WHERE DO WE CHECK IN?
Check-in for Ethos Hotel is at 59 Western Rd, on the corner of Marlborough Rd, opposite our Caffè Ethos, where we will provide you with a drinks voucher upon your arrival. Access is up ten ambulant steps above the pavement. If you require assistance, please call 01865 813580.

WHAT IS ETHOS HOTEL’S CANCELLATION POLICY?
Reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival to avoid any charges.
STAY CANCELLATION INSURANCE – £9 per Reservation
If you purchase Stay Cancellation Insurance Protection, (or if it is included in the direct rate you booked e.g. our Premium or Business Direct rates), you’ll get a full refund, instead of a credit to use on a future booking, if you’re unable to stay because you or a close family member falls ill or if you are unable to travel due to local or national restrictions. To qualify, you will need to provide a note from your doctor confirming you or an immediate family member are sick so you are unable to travel and stay, or in the case of restrictions, the postcode of the booker/guest will need to match the lockdown area.

Guests who need to depart early will be charged according to their rate plan.

WHAT IS ETHOS HOTEL’S SMOKING POLICY
 We are a non-smoking hotel.

WHAT IS ETHOS HOTEL’S PET POLICY
Small, well-behaved dogs (under 25lb) may be kept in certain rooms for a charge of £20/night (for each dog, maximum two), which will include dog food, a dog bed, and bowls.
Please enquire at Reception.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE FOUND IN ETHOS HOTEL’S ROOMS?
The hotel offers luxurious Suites with super king-size beds and a separate living space with sofabeds. Deluxe rooms feature super king-size beds, and Standard rooms feature a King-sized bed. Free WiFi, A/C, under floor heating, heated towel rails, large screen TVs, kitchenettes, and Kinu aromatherapy toiletries are standard in all rooms.

WHAT BUSINESS SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE?
We have reserved workstations and video-conferencing, office supplies, photocopying, laser printing, fax service, packaging services, concierge, power outlets, and USB outlets.

DOES ETHOS HOTEL HAVE A GYM OR POOL?
Guests* to Ethos Hotel may enjoy free access to Pure Gym’s fitness centre
(*Business Direct rate plan guests only).

ARE ROLLAWAY BEDS AND CRIBS AVAILABLE?
Rollaway beds are available for £20 per night. Cribs are available at no charge. Note that breakfast is not included for extra guests staying in your room.

DO YOU OFFER PRE-ARRIVAL CHECK IN?
Yes! Our pre-arrival check-in service allows immediate access to rooms without visiting reception.

IS ETHOS HOTEL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Several of our rooms have direct level access to the street and disabled parking. One of our Deluxe rooms has design features to aid accessibility. If needed, please request this room (#4) when making a booking.

DOES ETHOS HOTEL HAVE A BAR AND RESTAURANT?
Yes, our Caffè Ethos is a fully-licensed bar and restaurant serving daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and high tea. We also provide a weekend bottomless mimosa brunch.

Our hours are:

Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday  8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
